Teaching is an integral part of my academic career. I employ a teaching philosophy centered around being a passionate, self-aware, and inclusive instructor.

As an instructor at institutions with diverse student bodies, I have learned how to teach complex course materials to groups of students who likely have different backgrounds and experiences. I strive to include course material from an equal spread of men and women scholars, and also work to highlight under-represented voices, such as queer scholars or intersectional scholars.

I have enhanced my teaching pedagogy through several mini-courses at UW-Platteville, including place based learning and teaching in a hybrid format during the pandemic.

I teach the following courses. I am happy to share syllabi upon request.

Seminar/Select Topics in Political Science-- Political Psychology (POLSCI 4760)

Introduction to American Government (POLSCI 1230)

Social Research Methods (POLSCI 3440)

Women, Gender and Politics (POLSCI 3250)
